Faith Statement

We Believe...

• the Holy Bible (the Old and New Testaments) is the inspired Word of God without error

 

• in the one true God, maker of Heaven and Earth, who exists as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit

 

• God provides salvation for all who believe in the sacrifice of Christ, turn from their sin and accept His free offer of forgiveness

 

• God uses our painful experiences to help others therefore our pain is not in vain.  He helps us to comfort others in the way He has comforted us

 

• in the healing power of God’s love

 

• God will guide and strengthen us through difficult times

 

• that all people should be free from oppression, fear, and abuse

 

• in God’s mandate to care for the widows, orphans, and the oppressed, which domestic violence produces

 

• in wise stewardship of finances, time and talents
